What is AnythingAuctions?
AnythingAuctions is eBay auction listing service. We are designed to
assist individuals selling their items on eBay. AnythingAuctions
makes it easy and convenient for anyone, anywhere in the continental
U.S. to sell on eBay.
What can be sold through AnythingAuctions?
We accept a wide variety of items, from cameras and computers to
jewelry and musical instruments. The items must be legal to sell on
eBay, be shippable by UPS, have an eBay value of over $75 and weigh
less than 50 pounds.
Will my items be safe?
Items will stored in our secure listing facility and insured for
their fair market value (up to $5000).
My item isn't on the list. Can I still sell it through
AnythingAuctions?
Please call AnythingAuctions at 440-582-1771 to receive an
authorization number before shipping your item to us.
AnythingAuctions will allow additional items not on the list at its
discretion.
What happens after an item is brought to AnythingAuctions?
Once at AnythingAuctions, our staff will take care of everything,
including photography, research, testing, eBay listing, customer
service, payment processing, shipping, and, if necessary, returns.
What's the benefit of using AnythingAuctions?
Ease and convenience are the greatest benefits. The listing center at AnythingAuctions is experienced in professional
photography, ad copy, research, and customer service. Running an
auction on eBay can be time consuming and involve a lot of
customer/bidder contact and other pesky details. AnythingAuctions

How are items tracked once they're dropped off?
As soon as the item is launched on eBay, customers will receive an
e-mail notification from AnythingAuctions that their item is a live
auction on eBay. They will be provided a link to eBay, through which
they can view the auction.
How long are the eBay auctions?
Seven days.
How long does it all take?
Items will be listed on eBay within one week. The eBay auction runs
for seven days. Customers will receive a check within one weeks
after AnythingAuctions receives payment from the buyer.
What if an item doesn't sell?
If an item doesn't sell, we will return it at no additional charge
to the customer.
Why is there a desired minimum $75 selling price for each
item?
The processing costs involved are such that accepting items of a
lesser value would result in customers receiving very little in
return for their goods.
Why do you recommend that auctions start at $1 versus a
stated minimum amount?
In our experience, selecting a $1.00 starting price (Basic Service,
no prepay required) usually results in a higher final sale price
because there will be more bidders. Customers can select a higher
starting price by using our Premium Service ($20 prepay required;
this amount will be credited to your account if your item sells)
although the item may be less likely to sell.
Note: Although we will strive for the highest sale price, AnythingAuctions
is legally required to accept the highest bid an item receives; we
cannot return it to you if it sells for less than you think it's
worth.
What if an item sells below the $75 minimum estimated value?
On occasion, items will not perform to expectations, and eBay and
AnythingAuctions cannot guarantee any item's performance.
AnythingAuctions will commission all auctions at a minimum $20.
It's in AnythingAuctions's interest to see that each item has a
chance to succeed, and we do everything we can to make this happen.
Why can't larger items be sold through AnythingAuctions?
The vast majority of items that sell on eBay weigh less than 70
pounds. To be efficient, we have constructed our processing center
to accommodate this reality. We will continually evolve our
assortment of accepted items to best serve the market.
Why does AnythingAuctions accept some items and not others?
Due to third party relationships, eBay regulations and our own
morals, AnythingAuctions will not sell sexually explicit
material, some weapons, counterfeit goods, items deemed by UPS to be
hazardous, or any other items outlined in eBay's prohibited items
list. It's also noteworthy that even though you can find just about
anything on eBay, not everything on eBay sells for high prices.
AnythingAuctions has worked hard to identify items that will yield
healthy returns for our sellers. Additionally, given handling costs
implicit in most eBay transactions, AnythingAuctions has focused on
accepting and selling items that can be transported relatively
inexpensively and safely.
